Let’s face it: while every honest blog contest is an awesome way to help promote your site and get a few extra backlinks, there are just some contests that offer way cooler prizes than others. 

I mean, let’s compare Contest Blogger’s current contest with Cash for Comments’ current contest.  We’re giving away a freaking comic book; Cash for Comments is giving away a totally radical widescreen flat-panel LCD monitor.  Now which one do you think is going to get more entries?   

You heard me right: one lucky winner is going to walk away with a 24 inch L246WP LCD monitor from LG.  It has features like D-Sub, DVI-D, component video and digital HDMI inputs.  Oh, and it puts our silly little comic book contest to complete shame (although if Contest Blogger wins this one, we’re going to be giving the monitor away to one of you!).
