David Culpepper at PureBlogging, a great blog tip site, has kicked off a unique contest to celebrate the upcoming 1000th comment on his blog.  Congrats on the milestone, David.  Here’s a bit about the contest:

There are two ways to win $100 cash via PayPal.  The first is to be the person who posts the 1000th comment on PureBlogging (this excludes trackbacks).  David will be monitoring comments during the next two weeks, so don’t try leaving short, irrelevant comments just to try to win the contest. 

The second way to win some cash is to write a new blog post about the PureBlogging contest, like I’m doing here. It needs to contain a link back to PureBlogging, a link to the contest, and mention that he’s giving away $100 CASH to the 1000th commenter and anyone who blogs about it. 

Post about the contest and David will enter you in a random drawing for the prize.  The contest is open to everyone who has a blog, and will remain open until PureBlogging gets its 1000th comment (probably by July 4).
